# Accessibility statement ReferenceWCAG 2.1 AA Checkedon every publish Pages from one templateall ## How the site is built Semantic HTML, full keyboard navigation with visible focus, labeled form controls, alternative text on images and reduced-motion preferences respected. The site works without JavaScript; only the search filters require it, and the same data stays reachable from the device pages. ## Contrast Verified numerically against the WCAG 2.1 formulas, in both the light and the dark theme: normal text keeps a ratio of at least 4.5:1 with its background, and the borders of interactive controls keep at least 3:1 as required for user interface components. ## The legal framework The European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882, implemented in Italy by Legislative Decree 82/2022) sets accessibility requirements for consumer-facing digital services and points to WCAG 2.1 level AA as the technical standard for websites. Accessibility is checked at every site generation, since all pages come from a single reviewed template. ## What automated checks miss They find missing alternative text, unlabeled controls and insufficient contrast. They do not find reading order with a screen reader, the full keyboard path or whether an alternative text says something useful.
